About the BookComing in third place was something that was all too familiar to Hector Montiago. As his strength and grounding personality pushes him into first place with the woman he loves, lines are crossed and sides are chosen. In this second book of the series, Brother Number Three depicts family ties in a light unequal to any other. Lilly tells the story of how the brothers unite in the effort to recover her missing son, as blood becomes both the indestructible bond that holds them together and the opposing force that pushes them apart. Read on as they fight temptation while the enemies of the Montiago cartel unleash their wrath, only to discover that the true danger lies within.

My ThoughtsBrother Number Three is the third book in the story of the Montiago brothers. Lilly is the narrator of this book that continues where Easter's Lilly left off. Lilly is married to Max but she seems to have a hard time being faithful to the man she is with. With Max gone a lot and asking Hector to take care of Lilly things get a bit too tempting for Lilly. She has this habit of wanting affection from the men in the Montiago family and she gets it from all the brothers. This time it is Hector which makes him Brother Number Three. Jorge is to be released from jail soon and he will be coming after Lilly. The brothers are still in the drug business but that does not seem to be the main focus of the story. It is more about the on again off again relationship between Lilly and the brothers. They are all committed to protect Lilly at all costs from the evil brothers. Will Lilly finally find out which of the brothers she truly loves and wants to have in her life?? You will need to read the series to find that out. Again this story ends abruptly so there is sure to be another one in the series. This book is a fast and enjoyable, if not a bit confusing at times.
